Based in the vibrant city of Boston, violinist Brandi Main commands the concert stage with versatility and skill.

With a passion for chamber music, she has performed music from classical to contemporary for festivals such as the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival, Icicle Creek Chamber Music Festival, and earned distinction as a Festival Scholar at the Heartland Chamber Music Festival where she performed live on Kansas Public Radio (KPR). Brandi has premiered numerous solo and chamber compositions across the United States.

She has been on stage with orchestras such as Olympia Symphony in Washington state, Adrian Symphony Orchestra and Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra in Michigan, Perrysburg Symphony Orchestra in Ohio, and Kendall Square Orchestra, Melrose Symphony Orchestra, Quincy Symphony Orchestra, and New England Film Orchestra in Massachusetts.

Brandi has been an avid and committed educator from coast to coast, mentoring aspiring musicians in esteemed youth orchestras like the Detroit Symphony Youth Orchestra and Tacoma Youth Symphony, as well as through chamber ensembles and private instruction in her own studio.

With a keen eye for production and event planning, Brandi excelled as the Production Manager for the Walla Walla Chamber Music Festival and has contributed her expertise for renowned institutions such as the Boston Landmarks Orchestra, Handel and Haydn Society, and the Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum.

Through her academic journey, Brandi received her Master of Music in Violin Performance at Bowling Green State University where she distinguished herself as a graduate assistant in the Graduate String Quartet. She received her Bachelor of Music in Violin Performance at the University of Puget Sound, complemented by a transformative experience in Vienna, Austria, as a student and performer of the IES Vienna Music Program. Brandi's esteemed mentors include Maria Sampen, Barbara Gorzynska, and Caroline Chin.

She currently works in administration at the Boston University College of Fine Arts, fosters the next generation of musicians in her private studio, delights audiences as a member of the New England Film Orchestra, and looks forward to new and exciting performing opportunities.
